Our latest competition, which ran throughout February, was extremely popular. We chose ten winners, at random, whose entries reflect an incredible range of stories chronicling their residents’ working lives. They include the experience of a ‘Bevin Boy’ and the career of a human rights lawyer, alongside memories of the perils of picking tatties, and witnessing a ghost on a hospital ward. The winning entries will be reproduced as columns in the Daily Sparkle in the coming months – so make sure to look out for them!
Congratulations to all our winners and a big thank you to everyone else who entered. The full list of winners, is below.
