Activity Coordinator Training

Over the past 12 years, we have been listening to our subscribers’ wants and needs and, from this feedback, we have created a comprehensive training for activity coordinators. An activity coordinator’s main priority is to ensure that the residents they care for are happy. However, they sometimes lack the support, inspiration and confidence to achieve this to the best of their ability. This powerful and effective training empowers activity coordinators to make a real difference in their care setting. The training has been created by a team with expertise in dementia, activity provision and compliance auditing. It is also delivered by experienced trainers who work in this field.

What Will You Learn?

The activity coordinators training course is broadly divided into two equal and overlapping parts. You can find a brief Training Day Course Outline here.

50% of the course provides practical training in skills such as developing high quality activities and working effectively with people living with dementia. The other 50% looks at how resources, specifically the Daily Sparkle, can be used to inspire, save time and maximise benefits when providing activities.

On completing the course, activity coordinators will be equipped with the skills they need to make a positive difference in their place of work.

Booking Your Training Place

Activity coordinator training places are popular and fill up quickly so we recommend you book your place sooner rather than later by finding your local course below.

Payment can be made by credit/debit card, Bacs or cheque when booking. For Bacs and cheque payments an invoice will be sent shortly after you have submitted your booking form. Payment must be received in full before the training day for your place to be reserved.
