ONLINE TRAINING COURSE FOR ACTIVITY COORDINATORS

Helping you to make the most of your home

OUR POPULAR FACE-TO-FACE TRAINING HAS MOVED ONLINE!

Reformatted for 2 linked Zoom sessions in a single day (2.5hrs in the morning and 2hrs in the afternoon), you will still have access to the same evidence-based content from our specialist training team.

This course has been designed for staff working in elderly and dementia care.

Course cost: £89.00

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

The Activity Coordinator Online Course is divided into two linked sessions. You can find a brief Training Day Course Outline here.

The linked sessions provide practical training in skills such as developing high quality activities, planning your week or month and working effectively with people living at different stages of dementia. We look at how activities can be documented and evaluated, and what the CQC are looking for (or equivalent national bodies for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland).

On completing the course, activity coordinators will be equipped with the skills they need to make a positive difference in their place of work.

Hi, I’m Helen.

I have been delivering training courses for Daily Sparkle since 2017, initially through face-to-face courses and – for the last 3 years – online. During that time, I have had the pleasure of working with 1000s of Activity Professionals based in various care settings.

My passion is to help those living with dementia to live well. Through my work with Daily Sparkle and other projects, I help care teams integrate meaningful activity into their care. We have found that this training positively impacts on those who live, work and visit care homes. I’d love to work with you and your colleagues please get in touch at if you feel we can
support you.
